The Candy Kitchen Story

In 1937, an ambitious young man named Sam Taustin opened a boardwalk candy shop selling homemade fudge and salt water taffies of distinction. America was beginning to emerge from the Great Depression and folks had a taste for the sweeter things in life.

As a family-owned business, we take great pride in all of our candies, still making them the old-fashioned way with only the freshest and finest ingredients.

We open for St. Patrick’s Day and close the beginning of November. We have live outdoor entertainment in the summer season, M.R. Ducks is the place to be for great times and spectacular sunsets.
